Axiom, a global alternative legal services provider, has expanded its Asia leadership team. Yolanda Chan joins as General Manager of the Asia Pacific region and will be based in their Hong Kong offices.
Chan joins Axiom from Fitbit, where she served as Vice President and General Manager of APAC. She launched the fitness tracker category in APAC, and today, Fitbit is one of the most recognized fitness tracker brands in the region, having just been acquired by Google for $2.1 billion.
Bringing a strong managerial and technology background to her new position, Chan will play a critical role in Axiom’s ability to transform the legal industry through talent and technology in the APAC region, where Axiom has been operating since 2012.
Chan, who holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University, had also previously worked at Microsoft for 12 years, where she held a range of senior positions across the APAC region.
Said Chan, “I’m excited to spearhead Axiom’s efforts in the APAC region. I look forward to leveraging my expertise in conjunction with the firm’s already-established success to support our client roster and our strategic priorities in the region.”
